This is a photo of the extremely rare “BlueBottle Tree.” Very few are known to exist today. These rare trees require little to no maintenance. Warning: do not operate heavy machinery when cultivating this tree variety.

This is an 85-ft ponderosa pine tree set for removal. There was no access for aerial equipment, so Dave Johnson climbed the tree to set rigging gear. This tree was unstable, threatening the cabin seen below. This was spring ‘21

Here's another pine tree. This tree was also inaccessible for aerial equipment, and had died from Mt. Pine Beetle infestation. One-half of the tree has already been removed; Dave is standing on the stump of the removed section.
