Interested individuals should be safety conscious and have the desire and capacity to work outdoors – sometimes in adverse conditions. Applicants must possess a general knowledge of correct and appropriate pruning techniques as well as a familiarity with large and small outdoor equipment operation and maintenance.
Prior work references and pre-employment physicals are required. Arborists certified by ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) or SDArA (South Dakota Arborists Association) are preferred. To maintain our exemplary safety record, the Johnson Tree Company voluntarily participates in random drug and alcohol testing programs managed by local health-care providers.
